PrimeTime highlights include:


Budd Martin
-PrimeTime topped Budd Martin’s final Production Sale, selling to Roger Huntrods, IA and Tom Slack, IN for $3,600.
-PrimeTime sired Hip who, after serving at Cooper’s in OK, sold at Budd Martin’s Dispersal Sale to Tom Slack for $3,500.
-PrimeTime sired the Champion and Top Selling Ewe at Sedalia in 2004, exhibited by Ernie Tannehill and selling for $2,500.
-Shady Hill later acquired PrimeTime, and now has his sons and daughters working and an inventory of semen in the tank.
-PrimeTime later saw service for Dwayne Hurliman, OK.

Matt Martin
-Shady Hill let Matt Martin use PrimeTime for a single heat cycle, during which he sired Velocity, the ram that topped the Matt Martin Dispersal Sale, selling at $3,600 to Marla Piper, IA.
-PrimeTime also produced all of the high sellers at the Matt Martin Club Lamb Sale and later his Dispersal, both of which averaged approximately $1,000 per head on Polled Dorsets.

Slack Success

Tom Slack

-Hip, working on PrimeTime daughters, produced a string of winners and sale toppers for Tom Slack, starting with “Grand” who was Champion and Top Selling Polled Dorset Ram at Sedalia in 2006, selling to Hewlett’s for $5,200.
-Also in 2006, Hip on a PrimeTime daughter, produced the Champion Polled Dorset Ewe at Sedalia.
-At the 2007 MWSRS, Slacks has Champion Polled Dorset Ram sired by Hip out of a PrimeTime daughter.
-At 2008, MWSRS, Slacks had Champion Ram, sired by Hip out of a PrimeTime daughter.
-At 2009 MWSRS, Slacks had Reserve Champion Polled Dorset Ram, sired by Hip out of a PrimeTime daughter.
-Other Slack success: Champion 2007 Dorset market lamb, Champion 2008 Dorset market lamb and Champion 2009 Whiteface Cross at Indiana State Fair were all PrimeTime grandsons.
-Slacks sold Hip to Wasteneys, IA, where he continues to produce winners and sale toppers.

Hewlett
Hewlett -Grand proves again that PrimeTime breeds on, as he has sired a string of winners and sale toppers for Hewlett, starting with Grand Duke who was Champion and Top Selling Polled Dorset Ram at Sedalia in 2007, selling to Sherry Nelson of Star Dust Sheep Farm at $6,400.
-Champion ewe at Sedalia in 2007 was by Grand, selling at $1,700.
-Hewlett’s had Champion Polled Dorset Ram at Sedalia in 2009 sired by Grand.
-Grand sold in the summer of 2009 for a record price in excess of his original $5,200 price, on the Online Top Twenty Ram Sale to Dr. Brent Pitts, OK.

Star Dust Sheep Farm
-Grand Duke proves that PrimeTime breeds on, as he has produced a string of winners and sale toppers for Sherry Nelson of Star Dust Sheep Farm, including Reserve Grand Polled Dorset Wether at 2008 NAILE, Champion Polled Dorset wether at 2009 Ohio State Fair, and Grand and Reserve Polled Dorset wethers at 2009 NAILE.

Myers Polled Dorsets
-At 2009 MWSRS, Steve Myers had Champion ewe sired by a Slack ram, sired by Hip and out of a PrimeTime daughter.

Clairs
-Clairs acquired the Cooper flock, which featured the genetics of PrimeTime through Hip.
-At 2009 MWSRS, Clairs had High Selling Polled Dorset Ram, which sold for $3,200 to Chad Heisdorffer, IA, and won the March Ewe Lamb Class with a ewe selling to Clay Elliott at $2,250. Both lambs were double bred PrimeTimes.
